UPDATE (March 10, 2017): There is now a new release of DraftSight 2017 SP1 that includes this Hot Fix in the install files. Installation and Product Activation Guide. Customers of these solutions are entitled to support for issues relating to the software installation and activation of the license only. SOLIDWORKS has made available a critical hotfix to resolve this issue. Its familiar user interface makes it easy to transition from other comparable CAD applications.
It has come to the attention of the DraftSight team that, 32 & 64-bit versions of DraftSight released from 2012 to 2017 will not launch and/or will stop running as of March 1, 2017. DraftSight is a professional-grade 2D design and drafting solution that lets you create, edit, view and markup any kind of 2D drawing.
